The  fact that I was leaving home  and  living  on my own, I was thrilled.  When I moved to Bryan, I thought it was going to be fun. Be with your friends twenty-four seven, partying and drinking. At first that what it all consisted of, then school started.  After the third week of being away I got awfully home sick. Not realizing how much I really  depended on my family. Brailey Hall Professor Still READ304 17 September 2018 Who I Am I am Brailey Devon Hall, from Burnet, Texas. That’s my home, because all my family and friends are there. I've grown up there since I was two-years old. I started school in Burnet at Head Start, and the first semester of kindergarten. Second semester of kindergarten, I went to Marble Falls till the end of seventh grade. Then I moved back to Burnet in eighth grade and graduated from Burnet High School. During high school, I played softball and did powerlifting. During my career as a powerlifter I received one State medal, three Regional champion medals, four gold medals, two silver, and one bronze. Not only did I play softball for my high school, I also played in a co-ed league, and a women’s league. Brailey Hall   Professor Still   READ304   13 September 2018   Agree or Disagree   In David Brooks ’  article, “ Building Attention Span”  he talks about fluid intelligence and crystalized intelligence. He quotes that “researchers have done a lot of work on attention span, and how the brain is being re-sculpted by al1 those hours a day spent online. One of the conclusions that some of them are coming to is that the online life nurtures fluid intelligence and offline life better at nurturing crystalized intelligence.”  I  disagree with this statement because a s a n eighteen-year-old who’s life revolves around the internet and social media, ha s  crystallized intelligence.
